AC Milan is always on the lookout for market opportunities, particularly those that allow them to add quality in ‘cheaper’ transactions, and a new identity has developed.
According to MilanLive, Naby Keita is a ‘opportunity’ that Milan is keeping an eye on. The 27-year-old midfielder is currently having a difficult season due to injury, as he has only played five minutes this season, back in July in the Community Shield victory over Manchester City.
Before ‘deepening a conversation with his entourage,’ it will be vital to observe how his condition progresses, but Keita ‘has a profile that Milan have long liked,’ and they may try to add a player who has played in an intense pressing system to their midfield.
However, the report also adds that other English clubs such as West Ham United and Newcastle United are keen on the Guinea international, but a possible return to Germany remains a hypothesis above all where Borussia Dortmund are ready to welcome him.
In other news, this AC Milan player is better than what his stats show!
Charles De Ketelaere has yet to score for AC Milan since his summer transfer from Club Brugge, but his attacking productivity should be higher.
At the age of 21, De Ketelaere is adjusting to a new league and a new nation, but he has been guilty of grasping at certain chances to add to his total of one assist so far this season, as witnessed in the win against Monza when he missed a late chance to make it 5-1.
However, as evidenced by the video below, he should have had more than one assist…

Origi scores his first goal
Divock Origi, a former Liverpool striker, scored his first league goal for AC Milan as they beat Monza to go up to second in Serie A.
Brahim Diaz, on loan from Real Madrid, opened the scoring from long range before turning in Origi’s ball before the break.
Just after an hour, Origi shot into the top corner, but Filippo Ranocchia equalised with a free kick.
Rafael Leao of Portugal scored the fourth goal for Milan late in the game.
The victory puts the defending champions behind Napoli on goal difference.
